Great people but I was surprised at how it was built to accomodate the landscape but inconvenient for people to get around the building.

The Buttes provided a fantastic venue to enjoy the Phoenix area and return to a resort environment. The swimming pool(s) also provided plenty of room and options from large pools for volleyball, waterfalls, several smaller spas for relaxation. I highly recommend this hotel. ...read more

Business Traveler
The hotel is built into a mountain and the architecture is an extension of the natural surroundings. The rooms feel very solid and quiet. There are many areas for taking long walks to unwind.

wasnot cleaned until after 4:30 pm.
Room was very large, bedding were very comfortable, lots of windows, beautiful mountain setting, very large pool with water slide, excellent service by all staff.

The place itself is wonderful. The only problem we had was being sent to a room that was already occupied with guests who were in the bed when we walked in. Then when we called to complain, someone on the other end told us to have fun and join in. Needless to say, we were not pleased with that at all. Traveling as Couple
We loved everything about this hotel. Our room was located on the 3rd floor, the same location as the fitness center which had a great selection of cybex machines and cardio equipment.
